At Bølgen & Moi Kristiansand, you may choose any of our three different seating areas. We offer a full service Brasserie with a modern international á la carte and a seasonal 7-course menu. Our wine list, premiered with the Award of Excellence in the Winespectator for three consecutive years, carries an impressive range of Champagne.
Our main dining room – the Restaurant:
Our restaurant seats up to 70 guests and offers a unique atmosphere with its contemporary rustic finish. Glasses, cutlery, plates and napkins are set on the tables to form individual installations of art. Together with paintings, engravings and stained glass art by the late Norwegian artist Kjell Nupen our main dining room provides the perfect ambience for your dinner. For smaller parties of 4-12 people our Chambre Separée can be reserved free of charge. Choose from our á la carte menu, or try out the Chef’s seasonal 3 to 7-course menu.
The conservatory "Lysthuset”:
In our conservatory, you will find yourself in the elements of nature at the same time sheltered from wind and rain. With two whole sides of the dining room and the roof made of glass, overlooking the waterside, the view is simply stunning. Birches on the walls, lots of green plants and nice background music makes for a serene atmosphere.
The conservatory is available for table reservations online and for private parties of 20-50 people. Choose from our á la carte menu.
We let the summer breeze in through our French doors on hot summer days and keep it warm and cozy during the winter.
The outdoor patio:
Our outdoors area seats 130 people. On beautiful summer days the sun stays until late night. The bar is also open for amazing cocktails.

Larger groups and private parties:
Our set menus are available for eight or more guests. There are many different and exiting options to choose from no matter the occasion. For private parties you may request one of our private dining rooms or the entire restaurant; our Chambre Separée, suitable for intimate dinners, seats up to 12 guests, our Conservatory with an outstanding view over the water seats up to 45 guests and our dining room seats up to 70.
Our lovely outdoor area situated on the docks overlooking the water seats up to 130 guests. In the summertime, you can enjoy the sun until the late evening hours and our outdoors bar will carry the same range of cocktails, wine and beer as our main bar indoors. We recommend our seafood platter with fresh fish and seafood from the Fish Market across the bridge.
Kitchen opening hours:
From May 1 until mid-August: 11.30 am to 10 pm every day of the week.
Mid-August to 30th of April: Monday-Sataurday from 4 pm - 10 pm, Sunday 1 pm – 6 pm.
